Kick Off To Summer!

This week is possibly the best week of my entire summer or at least close to the best. It's Strawberry Days (Pleasant Grove City celebration that has been around for years) and I'm stoked. This week is definitly full of fun and a great way to officially kick off the summer! In my family, Strawberry Days is huge. It's almost like Christmas. We celebrate big time. Same with the Lehi Pioneer Days which are next week because my grandparents are from Lehi and still live there, it's pretty intense. But back to Strawberry Days-I love it! The strawberries & cream are DIVINE. I also love the rodeo. I would go every night if I could. This year I am going Wednesday night and Saturday night which will be fun! I'm really excited! And the parade on Saturday, I LOVE the parade and shopping at the boutiques afterward! I'm so excited!

Today I went to Lagoon with Caecee and Jodi. Since Jodi is moving soon, we had to get in one last fun day without Jodi's kids (even though they are adorable) and get out of Utah County. We had a lot of fun! The lines were so short, it didn't take all day for us to get through the lines. It was a perfect day to go to Lagoon, sunny but not too hot. We arrived at lagoon at about 1:00pm and only stayed until 5:00pm and rode all of the rides that we wanted too, which were most of them and we got some delicious ice cream in between all the fun. We laughed and we screamed. . . A LOT. My throat is hoarse from screaming so much. Some of those rides are insane but so fun! We went on everything from wicked to rattlesnake rapids. It really was a blast! Then we went to Olive Garden for dinner, yum!!! It was a fun day! It was fun to be with great friends and just take a time out from our busy lives and spend time with each other which is what really matters in life! I'm glad we all went and had such a blast!
