Friday Laugh!

Have you heard of the cinnamon challenge? If you haven't, the goal is to eat about a tablespoon of cinnamon or hold it in your mouth for 10 seconds. It's nearly impossible. I've never done it but I've seen it tried many of times and I've never seen it achieved. It's pretty popular and lots of people try to do it because you wouldn't think it would be so hard! I've heard it burns terribly (but cinnamon is good for you).
I saw this video on youtube and I laughed hysterically!! You might not find it funny, because my sense of humor is a little twisted. But I really do laugh so hard little tears start to stream out of my eyes. Remember while watching that it's only supposed to be a tablespoon of cinnamon. . . and I've heard even that burns.
I hope you take the time to watch this video and I hope it gives you a laugh!!

Mexican Pepsi

Am I really going to write an entire blog post about a soft drink?
You can bet your bottom dollar.

Tuesdays are difficult days for me for several reasons. It's kind of like a Monday for me. I could go into detail but I digress. Let's just say that Tuesdays aren't particularly a cup of tea for me. So after a sleepless night and a morning filled with math (of which, I loathe). I opened up the refridgerator looking for something to eat for lunch and I discovered the bottled Mexican Pepsi that I bought on sale a couple of days before. I had totally forgotten about it. I don't drink caffeine on a daily basis anymore so this was a pleasant surprise. I tend to only drink caffeine when I go out on the weekends. But seeing as it was a gray Tuesday and I was definitely in need of some sort of 'fix', I decided to drink my Pepsi. I do wish that I would have actually been on a beach in Mexico drinking it, but instead I was in gray-slightly snowy PG. I can honestly say that it was the BEST Pepsi that I have ever tasted in my life and it most definitely made my day a little better! Maybe it's because I haven't had a Pepsi so long, or maybe it's because Mexican Pepsi is made with REAL pure cane sugar and U.S. Pepsi is filled with artificial flavor. Maybe a little of both?
You can call it unhealthy all you want. I personally think a little sugar kick for the sake of my sanity is totally healthy! If you're having a not-so-great day, I definitely recommend a Mexican Pepsi! Divine!

Valentine's Day with Toilets and Pigs.

(Just so you know, this is actually not a bum. . . it really is the crease in my elbow! What a great trick!)
I sent the following text to my loved ones on V-day this year:
"Happy Valentine's Day! I love you with all of my butt!! I would say heart, but my bum is bigger! P.S. that's not really my bum, it's my elbow, haha gotcha!).
I did leave out the picture on some of the texts because I do realize that not everybody appreciates my 7yr old boy sense of humor. Nevertheless, you bet your bottom dollar that I would post it on my blog for the world wide web to see. Sorry if it's offensive to some-my apologies!

I love the idea of Valentine's Day. I love remembering Valentine's Day as a child, it was so fun! I had great Valentine's as a child, like barbershop quartets (I wrote about it last year). But as an adult, it's just another day that I wear pink and eat a little more chocolate than usual. It's not like me to be a hater of the holiday. If you know me, I'm all about holidays. I usually wear something to represent the holiday and I just love to celebrate for any reason. Valentine's day is different. First, it seems like someone dies the days before Valentine's day every single year. So really, February reminds me of funerals. I could go on, but I digress. . .
This Valentine's day I woke up at 6:30am and went to school-so fun, not! Then I came home around 9:30am and did some homework. I then got on facebook and made fun of all of the cheesy status updates from people and their thoughts on Valentine's Day. Why is it that everyone feels the need to share their life with the people of facebook? "My husband is the absolute best because he did this and that for me on V-day". Really? GAG! I'm a cheesy person but I would never write those things on facebook. That's why I have a blog lol ;) I could go on and on about my feelings about facebook and people that bother me but I digress again.
Then I took a nap, then I looked in the mirror and realized I looked like a homeless person so I decided to shower and re-get ready. Then I went to an appointment at 3:00pm and after that, I went back to school for more classes. On my way back to school, I was inches away from rear-ending someone because my mind was preoccupied, then I almost got hit in a intersection and I only said a few bad words. Then I was sitting in class and because I had pounded down a 32oz of red cream soda, I really had to pee. So I went to bathroom and because I was wearing a cardigan with shallow pockets that my phone was in, my phone plopped right in the toilet (no, I wasn't texting on the potty-that's kakas!). So I said a few more bad words and dried out my phone and washed my hands about 10 times and gagged at the thought of germs and how I couldn't wait to get home to disinfect my hands and the phone. Luckily, the phone still works!
Then I went to physiology lab and we dissected pig eyes, not the first time I've spent Valentine's day with a pig- haha! But it was actually quite interesting. I got home at 9:30pm and did more homework, ate chocolate from loved ones (thanks!) and disinfected my phone over, and over again.
It wasn't a bad day, and it wasn't a great day.
Like I said, it was just another day that I wear pink and eat a little more chocolate than usual.
I sure hope that you all had a much more cheerful and eventful Valentine's Day! If you didn't, don't worry it really is just another day to eat some extra candy and say I love you a few more times than usual!
