Summer Concerts!

Okay, so i must say i am pretty well rounded when it comes to music. I get down with rap, country, rock, pop....i like pretty much everything and i listen to pretty much everything. But i must say, that i love going to country music concerts. You get such a wide variety crowd and they're just fun! So, this year i saw George Strait and Blake Shelton and Julianne Huff opened for him on July 17th at Usana Ampitheater outside. Concerts are so much better outside by the way. It was really fun, it was just my mom and i and it was a very low key fun relaxing concert. Then i went to Kenny Chesney on July 23rd. He was supposed to come with my all time favorite band Sugarland but Jennifer Nettles lost her voice, i was sooooo sad. Good thing i found out they weren't going to be performing before the concert because if i would've found out there i would've been very upset. Anyway, Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert opened for Kenny Chesney. It was an awesome concert. He puts on such a good show. I must say, this year was his rowdiest concert i have been to. People were running up on stage and everything. The concert was a Rio Tinto Stadium outside. It started at 5:30...yes that is very early. They played for a long time tho and had to make up for lost time because of Sugarland not performing. But it was very hot outside. I went with my mom and Caecee, then i we saw and talked to a few of my other friends that went but werent sitting by us. We went up a little early and played the radio station games. We won a few t-shirts, Caecee won a cool bling-bling necklace and my mom won this bright pink, cowgirl hat. No, not just any hat, it was pink, had white sparkly fur around the brim, and it has a crown on the front of it that lights up, yes it is pretty much awesome. Anyway, we were on the 28th row on the floor. WAAHOO, we were so close. It was a blast. Later into the concert, Kenny took off his cowboy hat and wore a University of Utah hat someone from the crowd handed him. It was cool. Anyway, both George Strait and Kenny Chesney put on a great show and despite the crazy hot weather both concerts rocked! Here are a bunch of pictures from both concerts...
