Surprise B-day Caecee!

Friday the 23rd was Caecee's 19th birthday! She is the first one out of our group of friends to turn 19! Our group of friends decided to throw her a surprise party. I was so excited all week. The story that we told Caecee that I would be picking her up to go out to dinner with a group of friends but when I picked her up I told her that everyone was running late so to kill time we would go up to my house and she could open her present from me and after that, then we would head to dinner and meet everyone there. So, everyone arrived at my house early, we decorated and then I headed out to get Caecee. I picked her up and all went according to plan, I told her everyone else was running late so we would run to my house so she could open her giftand then when everyone else was ready, we would head to dinner. We headed to my house and as I stalled in the drive way so I could text everyone to tell them we were there so they could turn the lights off and hide. As we were two steps away from the door Caecee saw the balloons and knew what was up. We walked in and everyone popped out and yelled suprise. It was a good ol' fashioned suprise party. We had TONS of food and fun. It was a great night with the girls!! I love having parties with the girls!! I didn't take very many pictures because my darn memory card with my camera got full. I wish I would've had more memory to take more pictures. Also, the video of Caecee walking in didn't really start until after we all yelled SURPRISE but its still great. I hope Caecee had a Happy Birthday!! Her party sure was a total blast!! Here are the few pictures and videos that I took...when you watch the videos which are the last two items make sure to scroll to the bottom of my page and pause the music and then play the videos. Enjoy...
Possibly one of the best pictures ever taken

But don't worry, its just cream soda in a cool light up cup ;)

Fall Break is here!

Yay!! Fall Break is finally here. I am so ready for the break. Any break of school is always much appreciated but I swear, once your in college those breaks mean much, much more!! I have a lot of fun things planned, I will update you after we do them haha! A group of us went to Nightmare on 13th the other night...if you haven't been and like haunted houses. I strongly recommend that you go. It was SO much fun. I am sure we will end up going again or at least somewhere similar during fall break. Because, of course, the whole month of October is for celebrating Halloween. I will also be working on my Halloween costume during fall break. Its going to be a great break!! Everyone have fun and be safe! Here are just a few awesome pictures of Katie, Caecee, and I. I love these pictures, they make me laugh! Some of them are a lot the same, I just posted all of them anyway! P.S. The *hasnoun* thing is an inside joke, just in case you were wondering!! Happy Fall Break!!!! :)

New Calling...

Immediatley after I was released as Laurels President in Young Womens I was called to be on the Relief Society Board. You're asking, "What exactly does that intell?" Well, the answer is, I'm not really sure myself. As far as I know I just help where is needed. Mostly, we plan Enrichments and we also serve on the other committees (food storage, etc.) Planning the last Enrichment was quite stressful because the memebers on the board had just been called and Enrichment was in about 3 weeks. We spent hours on the lovely invitations so I hope everyone in the Ward enjoyed those, they did turn out quite cute. I love this calling so far. It has really helped get to know a lot more of the women in Relief Society. I love the ladies I serve on the board with. They are completely awesome. Anyway, my whole point is, GO TO THE ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES IN YOUR WARD. I cannot believe some of the responses we got when we invited and reminded sisters. Grown adults were utterly quite rude. Go out of your comfort zone because this is ultimately FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! There is a lot of hard work put into them. I thought it was tough to plan this last Enrichment that we had and I hardly did anything. The RS Presidency is amazing and they put a lot of prayer, thought, and hard work into the Enrichment activities. So, go to the Relief Society activites in your ward. It may not seem fun at first. But, I promise it will be worth it. They turn out to be a great spiritual experience and they're just fun!! Sorry for venting, blogging is a great venting system that I've discovered! Just attend your Enrichment meetings, they really are great! Haha, its pretty awesome being the youngest Relief Society member in my ward! Its actually quite awkward at some times but its fun! Its a great calling for me to be on the RS Board! We are getting ready to play our Holiday Enrichment, wish us luck and when it rolls around, go to your Holiday Enrichment!! :)

Ode To Young Womens!!!

I've been out of Young Womens for almost 2 months. It was an extremely hard transition. I became addicted to yws and just threw myself into it because it literally changed my life! Young Womens brought me into the Church as a Miamaid and helped me find my testimony and made me into who I am today and who I will become. But I am finally getting over missing it so much and starting to really love Relief Society. I've had such good Young Women Leaders over the past few years! I love the Young Women program and I always will! I just wanted to thank all the leaders I've ever had! I have so many pictures I could've posted.... but here are a few. I know I dont have pictures of all of my wonderful leaders but that doesn't mean that I dont care about them! If you've ever been my leader, you have made a tremedous difference in my life. All of you have been such great examples and made me who I am today. I have such good examples. I am so grateful that I've made life long friends out of my leaders. Its been really great and it will continue to be great. I have been through some very rough times in the past and it is truly a blessing that I have had each and every one of you as my leaders. You all are truly AMAZING. I could go on forever about all the many fun things we've done and all the wonderful things you all have taught me but it would seriously be a novel if I wrote about it all. i just wanted to thank all of you-and ou know who you are even if I dont have a picture of you on here. All the girls have also been such great examples and friends and will continue to be. I cant even imagine all the hardwork that my leaders have put into activities, girls camp, temple tour, youth conference, etc. I want you all to know that your hard work didnt go unnoticed. I appreciate everything you all have done for me! You all changed my life and its a good thing because I would've been a goner without each and every one of you. Especially thanks for putting up with me, I know I am not very easy to handle. Even though I had a hard time adjusting to the "new" leaders that are in Young Womens now, I love all of you! I am sad to leave you. Its funny how that works-you get so attached to a Presidency then they get released and you get a new one and you hate it at first but then you cant imagine anything different and the cycle goes on. I love the "old" Presidency and I love the "new" Young Women Presidency, each in their own way. You were all just so amazing in your own unique way. Each YW Presidency was so different from the last but different in a good way. Each Leader was also so unique. I am just so blessed to have each and every one of you because each of you taught me something different. I hope you all know how much I love and look up to you!! You were all FANTABULAR leaders and have become FANTABULAR life long friends. I will always look up to all of you! I wish I could really express how much I respect and look up to all of you. With my family being inactive you all have helped "raise" me if you will, into the Church and have helped me find myself. i will never forget some of the life changing experiences that I've had and I will never forget any of you great leaders. You all have taught me so much, especially by example. You are all my heros, thank you so very much. I love all of you dearly!!! I am truly blessed! THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!!! Remember, even if you aren't in the pictures, I'm still talking to you. You know who you are, if you've been my leader, I assure you that I look up to you more than you can imagine. Ok- enough of the cheesy babbling (even though I mean every word-it comes from the heart)-enjoy the pictures!! :)
The good ol' Acheivment Days with Sister MacDonald. I look like such a goof! Oh, those were the days!!!

Sister Booth, Sister Taylor, and Sister MacDonald at the AMAZING Girls Camp that started my testimony!
