FUN TIMES!!

A few days ago a few of my friends and i had a little get together and we played a few water games, karaoke, and just goofed off! We had a lot of fun! After a bad day, they make me so happy! Here are a few pictures....we are total goofballs! A few of the pictures are of my puppy, Lucy, she is such a funny dog. She wanted to go swimming too, so she jumped right in the pool. Also, it turns out that we are all a little too big to be playing in a kiddie pool sitting in tubes. Our bottoms got stuck in the tubes, I dont mean a little stuck, i mean, totally stuck but, we had a blast. I really shouldn't be posting these pictures because they are a little embarrassing but...they are funny. You can tell we like to have a good time goof off. Amanda, Katie, Kim, Caecee-I love you girls!!

Youth Conference

Youth Conference was June 26th-27th and i'll admit it...i really didnt want to go. It was with the Stake this year and it was at Heber Valley Camp, the same place we went go girls camp 2 weeks before. But, i had to speak and i decided just to buck up, it was only 2 days. We got up there and we were scheduled to go to the challenge course, which the girls in our ward had already done at girls camp but, there was a scheduling conflict and somehow Heber Camp didnt have our stake scheduled. So, we didnt get to do it. I felt really bad for the stake and the boys in our ward...good thing us girls had already done it. The first day was pretty slow because of the scheduling troubles and then it rained, i got a little bored. But we had a live band, a great speaker, and great talks given by the new Stake Presidency. Our speaker was Brother Fossum, a pg high school seminary teacher. He talked about temple marriage and change. He told a story about a guy he had worked with years ago who was not involved with the church but because of his example and such he became active and married his girlfriend in the temple. The guy had turned is whole life around...then that guy was actually there and talked a little bit about his experience. It was really, really neat! All of the girls in our ward fit into one cabin because the Beehives arent old enough to go and we only had 3 leaders Sister Eyre, Sister Nelson, and Sister Rice, it was nice to be in a cabin with just our ward. The next day we played games and had a few more speakers that were returned missinonaries, myself, Caecee and Sister Wardle (stake young womens president) talked for just a short time. Dont worry, i only had to speak in front of my ward and one other ward, about overcoming trials so it wasnt too bad ;) i kind of enjoyed it! We also went to the lake and took a cool hike back to camp. Anyway, overall Youth Conference was fun!! Again, i am really bad at taking pictures...i only take a few and they are all the same day at the same time, sorry, i'll get better. I only took a few of Caecee and I goofing off and that is all of the pictures at Youth Conference haha-it pretty much explains youth conference anyway, just Caecee and I goofing off...

Strawberry Days & Royalty!!!

So...if you know me, you know that Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days is like Christmas to me. Seriously, i love it, i especially love strawberries and cream which i got to help serve one of the days at the carnival because my ward had an opportunity so Sister Rice and i did it, and that was fun too! Anyway, i go to the rodeo, parade....everything! But this year was a little different. My two very good freinds ran in the Miss. PG pagent and they won so they were both in the Miss. Pleasant Grove Royalty. Amanda Cannon was 2nd Attendant and Kimbery Labrum was 3rd Attendant. This was a treat to me, i am very proud to be their friend! I went to almost all of there events! Well, i've been to a few of their other parades but of coarse when we are in our home town i went to ALL of their events! It was a blast......i went to the Rodeo every single night (even in the rain) except one to see them and then hang out with them. I went to the pie eating contest..(no, i didnt participate but i watched them) and by the way Kim almost won that! Then at the parade i would stand up and scream so they would see me and they would send out a special wave to me. So...you get the point that i was with them pretty much all the time. So, LOL we decided to make me a sash along with theirs that said "Attendants Bodyguard" and i wore it at every function when i was with them...all i was missing was the crown. I could go on and on because the bodyguard thing did come in handy to help them out a few times haha. A few nasty guys would mess with them and i would just point to my sash and yell "read the sash", then they would back off hahaha. Anyway, Strawberry days was a BLAST especially being the official bodyguard!! Here are a few pictures of different Strawberry Days events and some silly pictures of the "Royalty" (Kim and Amanda) and i goofing off...i only posted a few because i decided i shouldn't embarrass them too bad because afterall, these pictures are confidential behind the scenes....
